Acapulco Restaurant in DeSoto

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their customer service is always good and they keep the spot well organized constantly. Pricing is fair and they serve big portions.

Food was fantastic and service was excellent! Whole family will be back for more.

To go orders come quickly. Gave us discount coupons for next visit. We had the special for less than $10.00 we had an abundant amount of catfish fillets over 5. A nice green salad, 2 good hush puppies and a large baked potato with all the trimmings. Excellent dinner very good.

This is ALWAYS the best place to go for good food and great service.

I've gone there oh a out 4 times maybe. And each time it has been great. The waitresses are warm and ro take your order, know matter how busy it is. Their there with a friendly smile. Nice meal food was great had the pork chops and vegetables. Service was great as usually it is when I stop by. It's been a minute forgot how good it is there. Took one chop home for breakfast, how great is that, fried and egg and it was on

I purchase the fish special for carry out every other week. The onion rings have been constantly over cooked. This past Saturday the meal was too salty.

This place is always clean,nice, and friendly. The food is always hot,fresh,and great. I am always pleased every time I go. You get a lot of food for the money you pay. I would recommend this place to any one.

Me and my family had not been to Acapulco's in several years since most of us moved away. However we returned this weekend to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. The menu is vast filled with wide selection of our favorite foods. From fried catfish plates, burgers. Plenty of Tex-Mex choices Another plus, they serve breakfast all day. They have a variety of delicious and fluffy omelettes. Me and my sister had the veggie one it was served with fantastic has browns and your choice of toast and biscuits and gravy.. my mother had the fried catfish plate. It was served with Cole slaw and a side of large crunchy onion rings. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. It was tremendous time with family and some delicious homemade food. I know me and my family will return. I highly recommend!

Greatest "homemade" food around. We have been eating there for 30 years. I cannot remember being disappointed in the food. Best chicken fried steak and catfish around!!

The Manager, Staff and food are excellent. Customer service and hospitality is wonderful. But please check your to go orders before leaving the site. I've had a couple of orders filled wrong. Other than that I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

"The Works" omelet + sausage, hold the onions was amazing. I opted for refried beans as the side and you could also get grits. What I'm saying is, a person can avoid gluten, add/subtract/modify a menu item, and get a special warm extra-spicy salsa brought to your table, at request, if the standard table salsa doesn't have enough kick for you. There were daily specials for $7.50 like chicken fried steak, pork chops, etc. The staff work really hard & you leave satisfied. Is it fancy? No not at all. You pay at the counter & can buy a candy bar on your way out.... I'll go back & try the Monterrey Chicken.

Tried this place before with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I liked the awesome character and tasty dishes and beverages. Fantastic work.

I think the Mexican food is good and I'm a very picky eater

I wanted a diet tuna plate they didn't have tuna so I asked for the diet chicken plate they didnt have chicken so I asked for tortilla soup..they bought out this horrible looking soup that had chicken in it that looked a week old. I took one spoonful and could not go any further. I was hungry so I ate 2 bites of the avocado garnish.they also brought out what may have been cheese but I'm not sure and was not going to chance it. The server never came back to ask if the food was ok.

Good breakfast, specials at good prices

We've been eating at Acapulco's for years . We've never had any problems with either the food or the service. The menu has a variety of selections and everything is great. From the Fried Catfish to the Enchiladas, yum ! Not to mention the breakfast, inexpensive and plentiful. And just as delicious! Be seeing you there !

Awesome place! They have the best burgers, the best mexican food, and the best chicken fried steaks! That is a unique combination. I drive from Wacahachie to eat here.

Good service, takes a while to get your food but only because it's fresh and flavorful. It's also a very family friendly environment.

Great little place they treat you like family

We arrived at 8:30 p.m. the waitress was hurrying us to order because the chef and kitchen workers were going to close and clean the kitchen. She also was hurrying us to finish eating our food because she wanted to leave. It was our first time there and it was a really bad experience.
